I really enjoyed recording episode 73 of Unfinished Business, when I talked with Jeremy about advertising and creative work. But listening back, I didn’t articulate my thoughts anywhere near as well as Jeremy did.
Sometimes, when I’m editing the podcast, I hear myself and I wish that I’d say something better or said it differently. Sometimes I’m tempted to drop in a re-recording to make me sound more articulate, but I never do.
Anyway, I was very happy that Jen Simmons invited me onto her The Web Ahead podcast to pick up the subject again. I think I did a better job explaining why I’m not happy with the direction that the web design industry is taking this time.
Jen’s a brilliant host who knows how to bring out the best in people and she’s also not afraid to offer an opinion. If you’re not sick of the sound of my voice, I recommend you listen to The Web Ahead this week.
